Researching similar websites

 Tin Can Island I really like the way their website is laid out, everything is very clear and easy to access, it’s very easy to na vigate around. Despite it looking nice, I think it looks a bit too generic,  the  colour  scheme and the layout, although it displays their  work  nicely,  I just don’t think it stands out from the cr owd and   it’s very difficult to stand out in a business so saturated as this one. There's nothing special going on it's all very simple, no auto playing videos, no interesting layouts. to improve they could have some kind of short loop looping in the back to make the website feel more interesting to look at, also it would be if a short loop played when you hovered over the icons of the projects they've made. Unit 1/2 evaluation 1.7

When this course started I had a very different idea of what I wanted to do for work when I'm older, when I started I was set on making documentaries and factual programs, through my many experiences I've had on this course I have discovered that that's no longer the career path I want to go down. After working on a few creative projects I've discovered that I really enjoy writing. The first thing we did this year was produce a short 5 minute film as a class. After a lot of brainstorming we decided on a story of some bullies luring some kids into the forest to murder them. This was a really good learning experience because it taught me to fully listen to everyone else's idea and comprise to get an idea that everyone likes. This is a very important quality when it comes to the creative industry because it makes you a lot easier to work with. After we figured out the idea and the script was written we went out to film.
